Omni’s Andre Bohy Transports Nine Puppies on a Rescue Flight
Nine adorable homeless puppies from Wilson, North Carolina traveled in our company president’s rescue mission plane on the way to their new shelter in Armonk, NY. On October 14, 2013, Omni Financial’s President flew the puppies on his plane as part of a volunteer rescue mission for Pilots N Paws®.
Always having a desire to serve those who have served us, our President has been completing rescue missions in this very plane for years, sometimes working together with the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) and this time with Pilots N Paws Pet Rescue Services.
Pilots N Paws is a non-profit networking organization that matches volunteer pilots and plane owners with rescue groups that need help transporting animals. Volunteers donate their time, aircraft, and money in order to support the goal of saving animals.
For this rescue mission, Andre was transporting the litter of 8-week-old puppies to Adopt-A-Dog, a dog and cat rescue sanctuary organization serving New York and Connecticut. Adopt-A-Dog operates a shelter for companion animals and tries to find them safe, permanent, and loving homes.
The special delivery was just one of the many volunteer rescue missions Andre has completed for Pilots N Paws.
In this video, Andre talks about his work as a volunteer Pilots N Paws pilot and how he is doing his part to help these nine pups find their furever homes.
