The 404th Aviation Support Battalion is one of the largest units on Fort Carson is holding a week of fun for Servicemembers and their families.
On May 10th the 404th Aviation Support Battalion will have a family fun day at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. There is an estimated turnout of 800 to 1000 service members and their families. Such a great crowd to enjoy a beautiful day at the zoo to see all the exotic animals.
On May 11th we have been asked to attend a day of sporting events and competitions of the different companies in the 404th Aviation Support Battalion. The event will be held at the Iron Horse Park on Fort Carson. There will be an estimated 600 Servicemembers and their families in attending this event. A day of sports and competition, to see who is the best at what they do. Following the event will be a farewell dinner for the outgoing Commander and his wife.
On May 12th we will also be attending the 404th Aviation Support Battalion change of command. Held on Founder’s Field on Fort Carson, everyone will be able to welcome the new Battalion Commander. hundreds will be spectating as we start a new chapter on Fort Carson.
