For over 64 years Omni Financial has taken great pride in providing the highest quality of customer service to all customers applying for financial assistance. Another aspect that Omni holds in high regard is the ability to support our service members, families and our career retired through sponsorships of various base or community events that honor them for their daily sacrifices and selfless dedication to our country and community. In keeping with this, Omni has happily agreed to be the exclusive prize sponsor for the 20th Annual Armed Services YMCA 5 Star Military Families of the Year Recognition Luncheon. This event will take place on Friday, November 7th at the Virginia Beach Westin Hotel in conjunction with the observance of National Military Family Month.

This Gala luncheon is expected to draw 500 active duty members from all 5 branches of service, spouses, numerous military VIPs including flag, general officers and civilian dignitaries. This award is for service to their community and volunteerism in the Hampton Roads, VA area. Omni will provide and present TVs to the 5 winning families from all 5 service branches (Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard) at the luncheon. Each service branch nominated an E6 and below to the board that reviews the applications and then selects 1 member to be recognized. Each winning family will sit at their branch specific table with other senior enlisted and commanding officers of the unit. During the luncheon the accomplishments of each winner are read aloud and then the service member is called to the podium to receive their award. At this point a senior Omni representative will proudly present the TVs to the winners.

The special guest speaker at this event is slated to be Lieutenant General Richard Tryon, Commander, US Marine Forces and Commanding General Fleet Marine Force Atlantic. Omni has sponsored this event in various capacities in past years and looks forward to supporting the efforts of the service members and military families in the greater Norfolk, VA area throughout the year.
