When Omni GM Ray Curtis of the Hinesville, GA office  heard that the Ft. Stewart FMWR was looking for sponsors for their “Wounded Warrior/SOS Family Hog Hunt” he was right there to lend  his support.

  • On  Saturday, April 12th there will be a “meet and greet” at Holbrook Pond  for all the hunters, sponsors and supporters to get to know each other.
  • The actual hog hunt will take place on Saturday, April 19th at the Ft. Stewart hunting area from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Some 50 hunters will comb the hunting area for a chance to shoot and butcher a hog. It is expected that 150 observers will be on-hand to see the hunt. ESPN will also be there to film the hunt for possible airing at a later date. To show just how important this Wounded Warrior event is, the Commanding General of Ft. Stewart will be attending.  In support of this event Ray Curtis will be contributing eight gift cards from the Bass Pro Shop. This event demonstrates how Omni looks to sponsor activities for active duty military and for those who need a little extra assistance like our Wounded Warriors.
