Lakida gave me everything that I needed to get my loan approved. She went the extra mile even show how to transfer money from the virtual debit card to my bank! Horrible loan service! They require all of this paperwork to be provided prior to a decision being made and their boast about being "FAST" is ridiculous! They drug our application process out over two weeks. We ended up going with another loan service because we needed the money for car repairs. I'm glad we didn't need the money for an emergency! I recommend trying another company first and using these guys as a definite last resort!!

My experience was very pleasant, with very professional staff. Jada Crawford was my representative, and she is quick and effective. She also has no problem answering any questions I have and walking me through the process. I would definitely use the Columbus branch and her again.

Was a really great return experience with these people. DOD LOANS FAQS

Who qualifies for a DOD military loan from Omni Financial?

Active duty service members across all branches — Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, and Coast Guard — are eligible to apply, including those stationed OCONUS. You must be at least 18 years old, have an active military ID, and meet standard underwriting criteria. Rank and length of service may affect loan amount and terms.

Yes. You can complete the entire application online and receive funds via Omni Debit Card — no need to be stateside. We’ve been serving DOD personnel wherever they’re posted for over 50 years.

Repayments can be set up through military allotment or direct deposit from your LES, keeping you on track without the risk of missed payments. Our team walks you through setup during the application process.

Omni performs a soft credit inquiry during pre-qualification, which does not impact your credit score. We understand the unique financial pressures that come with military life and report responsibly to credit bureaus.

Service members use Omni loans for PCS moving costs, vehicle repairs, emergency travel, family expenses, or bridging a gap between paychecks. There are no restrictions on use — and no judgment about why you need it.

Yes. Omni Financial is fully compliant with the Military Lending Act, which caps interest rates and provides additional protections for active duty service members and their dependents. We don’t just meet the standard — we were built around it.

Once your loan is approved, your Omni branch team will walk you through allotment setup. You’ll need your Omni account routing and account numbers, which you can find by logging into your Omni Command account. From there, you can set up an allotment through myPay (for most active duty members) or by submitting a DD Form 2558 through your finance office — directing a fixed amount from your military pay to your Omni account each pay period. Allotment payments are automatic and pull directly from your LES, so there’s no risk of a missed payment. If you have questions during setup, call us at 1-877-OMNI-USA or stop by your nearest branch.
