Does retirement income count toward loan qualification?
Absolutely. Military retirement pay is considered stable, reliable income and is factored into our underwriting process. Whether you receive retirement pay from Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) or a combination of retirement and VA benefits, we work with your full income picture.
Do retired service members receive MLA protections?
The Military Lending Act’s full protections apply specifically to active duty service members and their dependents. However, Omni Financial is committed to fair, transparent lending for all veterans and retirees — no hidden fees, no predatory practices, period.
