WHAT YOU’LL DO:
✔ Review open accounts and determine which customers require follow-up on past-due payments.
✔ Utilize legal and effective collection techniques, including skip tracing and phone outreach, to maximize recovery.
✔ Verify the accuracy of account information and maintain up-to-date customer records.
✔ Make recommendations for account payment drafting and submit collection letters to customers.
✔ Process bankruptcy claims and follow up with attorneys as needed.
✔ Examine work for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies.
✔ Recommend accounts for escalation to an outside collection agency when necessary.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
✔ Experience in Consumer Collections (Financial Services Preferred)
✔ Strong People Skills & Comfort with Debt Recovery Conversations
✔ Exceptional Attention to Detail & Analytical Thinking
✔ Excellent Communication (Written & Verbal) and Negotiation Skills
✔ Proficient Computer Skills & Ability to Adapt to New Software
✔ Proactive Problem-Solving & Time Management Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ Years of Consumer Collections Experience (Financial services preferred)
- Good Personal Credit Standing
- Strong Attendance & Punctuality Record
- Reliable Transportation
- Must Be Bondable (Background Investigation Required)
