    • How do I get the up to date balance on my loan?

    • I changed my mind. Can I cancel the loan?
      • Omni Financial takes great pride in providing professional, personalized lending services to our customers. We want to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your military loan and our services. If you are not totally satisfied for any reason with your loan or our service, you can cancel the transaction at no cost to you whatsoever. Simply return the proceeds of your loan within 15 days (30 days for North Carolina loans) of the date of the loan and we will cancel your military loan immediately.
    • I received a letter saying I was due a refund. How do I get it?
      • If your military loan becomes overpaid we will promptly refund any overpayment that has been received by us. Just send a message through your message center or give us a call at: +1 800 798 6664 or +1 702 437 6057. We can expedite your refund by sending it to you by direct deposit at your option. If you are not in a hurry we can mail your military loan refund to you by U.S. mail.
    • My allotment stopped too soon. How do I restart it?

    • I do not have access to a Fax machine how can I get my LES to you?
      • If you do not have a fax machine available to use, the best and safest way to get us your military service LES is by uploading it to us from your computer by first signing in to your homepage . Once logged in, please click “Upload a Document” available on the menu bar. Once you arrive on the upload a document page, click on browse to choose the document to upload, click LES/RAS/Member Information Page, and click upload.

  • General Questions

    • Do I have to pay any advance fees in order for you to consider my online military loan application with Omni Financial?
      • No. Unlike some, Omni Financial does not charge any up-front loan application fees in order to submit a military loan application.
    • Do you offer any optional payment protection plans?
      • Yes. Omni Financial offers various payment plans. These plans include credit life, disability and debt cancellation. These plans are not required for loan approval but most of our customers take advantage of them. These options will cancel your debt under many circumstances that may present themselves in military life. Your military loan Credit Officer will be happy to explain the various payment protection plans to you.
    • I sent you my LES two months ago. Why do you need a new one?
      • We require a new end of the month LES and application for each new application or returning applicant because entitlements and deductions may change from month to month. Your military loan Credit Officer wants to be able to fully consider your application so as to give you the best possible chance of being approved for the amount you request. Having up to date LES information is essential to the military loan approval process.
    • Is my personal information secure?
      • Yes. Security of confidential information is a priority at Omni Financial.

    • What are the interest rates on your Military loans?
      • Our military loan rates will vary depending on several factors such as state law, the amount and length of the loan, current financial obligations and past credit history. We make loans with federal APR’s that range from low single digit amounts going up to a maximum of 35.95%. Applicants with excellent credit can most likely expect a very competitive rate while those who have had some credit problems will find their rate will be higher. In any case, Omni Financial will work to get your loan approved as fast as possible and offer a competitive rate as compared to other military loan lenders, payday loans and pawn lending.
  • Loan Application Process Questions

    • Can I apply over the phone?
      • Yes, please call us at 1-877-OMNI-USA and we will be happy to take your application over the phone.
    • Can I consolidate bills?
      • Yes, Omni Financial makes debt consolidation loans. Just inform your Credit Officer that you wish to consolidate some bills and the Credit Officer will determine the best way to accomplish this goal when processing your application.
    • Can I use a Mid-Month LES?
      • For active duty military personnel, Omni Financial requires an end of month LES in order to begin processing your loan application. Unfortunately our credit guidelines do not allow us to accept a Mid Month LES.
    • How can I check on the status of my loan application?
      • Omni Financial will send you a message to your Message Center once your LES has been received by us. This starts the loan application process. You will then start receiving messages regarding the status of your loan application from your assigned Credit Officer shortly thereafter at the secure message center. Log on to the secure Message Center.
    • How do I know if I am eligible to apply for a loan?
      • If you are career retired or full time active duty (Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy or Coast Guard with at least eight months before your separation date), you are generally eligible to apply for a loan with Omni Financial. Click here to Apply. Residency restrictions may apply.
    • How do I know you received my email, message or fax?
      • You will receive confirmation and updates at the secure message center. Response time may vary, up to a couple of hours, depending on your Credit Officer’s work load.
    • How do I send my LES to you?
      • You basically have 2 choices:For security reasons, we ask that you do not email us your LES.
        1. The best and safest way to get your military service LES to us is to upload it to us from your computer by signing in to your customer account and clicking the “Click Here to Upload LES” link from your home page.
        2. Fax it to us: +1(702) 531-6845 or +1(800) 666-4904.
    • How fast can I receive my loan funds?
      • The fastest way to receive your loan funds will be to elect the Omni Financial Debit Card by visiting one of our Omni owned branches or the Virtual VISA Card available through our internet division. The other option is a direct deposit, which gets you your military loan money in as fast as 24 hours. Unlike a check, once the money is credited to your account it is available for immediate withdrawal. Alternatively, Omni Financial can mail a check by regular U.S. mail to your bank for deposit into your account.
    • How long does it take to get my Military loan approved?
      • Omni Financial is committed to making a loan decision by the close of business following the completion of your application. Your application will be considered complete when a current end of month LES has been received by Omni Financial and all questions have been answered on the application. Please be sure to provide accurate phone numbers on the application so we can contact you easily regarding your military loan application.
    • How much can I borrow?
      • Omni Financial makes personal loans from $500 to $10,000. All loans are subject to our credit guidelines and certain restrictions apply. The maximum amount you can borrow is determined by your ability to repay the loan, primarily measured by your income, debts and credit history. Please indicate on your application how much you would like to borrow and we will do our best to meet your requirements.     • I am a civilian. Can I apply for a military loan at your website?
      • Omni Financial is a military consumer finance company specializing in military lending. We only accept applications from career retired and active-duty service members on this website at this time.
    • If my loan is denied, can I get a smaller amount?
      • We will explore all possibilities in processing your loan application. Please make sure we are aware of any additional income or other information that will help in processing your loan application.
    • The website will not let me re-apply. Why?
      • An application may have previously been submitted and is still present in the system. Please call us at: +1 800 798 6664 or +1 702 437 6057 or send a message to the Message Center and we will correct it.
    • What if I have bad credit, can I apply?
      • Yes you can. We can help you re-establish your credit. Omni Financial considers each loan application individually and very carefully. Most of our personnel are former NCO’s who have been in your shoes. As one of the nation’s leading military loan companies, we understand some of the problems that service members can experience with credit and we can take certain things into consideration. If there is something on your credit which appears problematic, we will contact you and discuss it. While other companies may not offer loans to military with bad credit, bad credit military loans, with Omni Financial there is hope!
    • What if I am stationed overseas, how can I get my money?
      • Once approved, Omni Financial can direct-deposit your loan proceeds into virtually any stateside bank and into most U.S. based banking institutions overseas. Or we can mail your loan proceeds check using U.S. Postal Service to your bank.
    • What is the Message Center and why do I need to use it?
      • The message center is a secure area of the Omni Financial website where you can communicate with your Credit Specialist or Customer Care Specialist. You will send and retrieve messages to or from your Credit Specialist or Customer Care Specialist by logging into your account and using the secure message center. Omni Financial does not use regular email to transmit confidential information because regular email is NOT secure. However, our Message Center IS fully secure. The message center is key in the loan application process. Log on to the Message Center often to check the status of your loan application.
    • What is the status of my military loan application?
      • Please periodically check your messages at the secure message center. There you will receive messages regarding the progress of your military loan application from your assigned Credit Specialist or Customer Care Specialist. Click here to log on now.
    • Who is my loan officer?
      • Upon receipt of your military loan application and current End of the Month LES, you will be assigned a Credit Specialist or Customer Care Specialist who will work with you during the application process.   • Payment Questions

    • How do I make my loan payments?
      • You can repay your loan by cash, check, money order, draft, ACH or by allotment. The recommended repayment method for active duty military is by military allotment. Omni Financial recommends allotment repayment because DFAS instituted discretionary allotments for the convenience of the service member. Keep in mind, however, that if you intend to use the proceeds of your loan to purchase a motor vehicle, furniture, electronics or other tangible, movable items, you should NOT elect to repay by allotment. Otherwise, using an allotment to repay your military loan is extremely beneficial to you because:
        • It is convenient and automatic.
        • It is timely.
        • No check to write each month.
        • No envelope, no coupon, no stamps, no trip to the mailbox.
        • No need to remember a due date.
        • No need to worry when you are in the field, TDY, emergency leave, deployed, etc.
        • The allotment service company sends us your money by the first of the month.
        • No worry about late payments or late charges.
    • If I overpay the loan, how do I get a refund?

  • Refinance Questions

    • Do I have to payoff my present military loan before I can reapply for additional money?
      • It depends on several factors. An important factor is the size of your present loan – if your present loan was a large loan, then at least 6 – 8 payments should be made prior to re-applying for a renewal. For smaller loans, at least one payment must be received, and then you can usually re-apply. In any case, if approved, the remaining balance on your existing loan will be refinanced and added to the new loan.
    • How many payments do I need to make before I can reapply for a new military loan?
      • There is no hard and fast rule here; however, at least four payments must be made on your current loan before you can be considered for a renewal loan. It usually will depend on the size of your present loan – the bigger the loan, the more payments we expect to have been made. If you have just recently taken out a large loan and have made only a few payments, it will probably be too soon to refinance. On the other hand, if you have established a good paying record and have worked your present loan’s balance down, then there is a good chance you can re-apply.
    • I need additional funds but I still owe you money, Can I still apply?
      • Yes you can and you are encouraged to do so. Keep in mind that the balance on your present loan will be a factor in deciding whether you are eligible for more money. Also, we look to see how many payments have been made on your existing loan – the bigger the loan, the more payments we expect to have been made.
