Keeping up with tech trends can be expensive.  But in today’s world, it’s a must for work, school or simply staying connected.  One way to stretch your technology budget is to look for companies that offer military discounts. Check out the brands and online stores below to find great savings on everything from phones and computers to cable service, video games and more.
All the military discounts require proof of service. Visit the individual websites below for details.  And remember – even if you don’t see your favorite brand or retailer listed here, you should always ask if they offer a military discount.  Many military discounts are unadvertised.

Apple
Military personnel and their families can purchase select Apple products for personal use at special pricing.
AT&T
A 15% discount on the monthly service charge on qualified plans is available to qualified active duty military, veterans, National Guard, reserves, and spouses of active duty and deceased service personnel.
Dell
Dell salutes service members by offering exclusive military discounts and a best price guarantee.
DIRECTTV 
Through Veterans Advantage new military customers are eligible to receive the special Introductory Veterans Advantage Select Package. Veterans Advantage is a fee-based membership program but the savings pay for the membership fee quickly.
Fios by Verizon
Veterans Advantage members can save up to $120 a year when they enroll as a new customer for Verizon Fios bundles.
GovX 
Active duty, reserve and retired service members can become members of GovX and enjoy exclusive discounts on many electronics products including computers, drones, cameras, audio accessories and more. Membership is free.
Lenovo
Lenovo has an employee discount program for defense personnel. All Department of Defense personnel, military and civilian, are eligible.
Microsoft
Microsoft offers special discounts on most products to active duty service members, military personnel and veterans.
OnePlay
The digital gaming subscription service, OnePlay, offers a 10% military discount to service members, retirees, veterans, military spouses and their immediate families.  Once military status is verified, you’ll receive a promotional code that can be used on your OnePlay purchase every day you shop at OnePlay.com.
Sprint
Active duty, reserve and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and related government agencies can receive a discount code for special savings.
U.S. Cellular
Active duty military, National Guard, reserves and veterans can receive a 15% discount off their calling plan charges. See site for details.
T-Mobile
Through the T-Mobile Advantage Program, military personnel can receive a $25 T-Mobile Advantage Reward Card every time you purchase a new smartphone or tablet.  Also, if you are a Veterans Advantage member, you can receive a 15% monthly discount on qualified Simple Choice plans and well as many other offers.
Verizon
Active service members and veterans can receive 15% off monthly Verizon Wireless service and 25% off select accessories.
