At Omni, we understand some of the common challenges military spouses face such as frequent moves, a deployed spouse, and problems finding childcare. These facts of military life may affect their ability find and maintain a rewarding career and unfortunately, many companies are reluctant to hire military spouses. Military spouses may also have non-transferable state-specific licenses or certifications, so once a person moves to a different state, he or she does not have the necessary requirements to be employed in their chosen career.

Interview with an Omni Employee
You’ll find military spouses at virtually all our branch locations. One of our honored employees, who also happens to be a military spouse, is Andrea, who works in our Las Vegas office. We asked her a few questions about her life on and off the job.
What do you like most about working for Omni?
What I like most about working for Omni is that it is military oriented which makes for a supportive environment for being an active duty spouse. Omni supports the ever-changing life of the military spouse whether it is with a schedule change to support a deployment, long tour, or TDY.
How does your office support military families and veterans?
Here at this office we have done quite a few things to support families/ veterans in need, the one that I remember most is we raised enough funds to buy four pallets of water for Veterans Village of Las Vegas (which had to be picked up and delivered). Water is definitely a big deal here in Las Vegas with the heat of the desert! We all came together as a great team with trucks and SUVs to load the 4 pallets of water for delivery and despite the heat we delivered and unloaded the water at the Veterans Village as a team.
What is your dream vacation?
My dream vacation would be to Cairo, Egypt to see the Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and Valley of the Kings. I have always been fascinated with Egypt and all things Egyptian.
