ASYMCA Neighborhood Exchange 2019
General Manager, Dan Morgan, of Omni office in Oceanside, CA was honored to volunteer at the newest ASYMCA program, the Neighborhood Exchange, on November 22, 2019. Over 250 military families E-4 and below came out to the event to receive donations that helped them stock their fridge for the upcoming holidays. The ASYMCA hosts this event monthly, with volunteers from the local area as well as from Camp Pendleton coming to assist.
The Neighborhood Exchange has evolved into more than just food and diaper donations, becoming a free farmer’s market of sorts, where information, recipes, military resources, and more are shared by and with families in attendance. General Manager Dan Morgan was able to speak with some volunteering service members from Camp Pendleton who were excited to learn more about Omni and the different ways we have been involved in the ASYMCA community.
