The Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program is something that Omni is proud to be involved in. Here are some highlights from our years of support for the event. These events give single service members a chance to meet each other, people and businesses in the community. Together we hope to make military life a little easier for all service members in Ft. Riley.
BOSS BBQ 2019
Omni has once again teamed up with the BOSS program to sponsor the BOSS BBQ at Fort Riley in Junction City, KS. 2019 will be the fifth year we’ve teamed up to bring a classic summer tradition to Fort Riley’s service members. Our honored service members can enjoy food, games, music and great conversation with friends and family. General Manager Vivian Willcoxon and the rest of the Omni team are excited to attend this years’ events and hope to see you there!

The BOSS program and Omni have once again gotten together in 2018 to sponsor the BOSS BBQ at Fort Riley in Junction City, KS. This is the fourth year they’ve teamed up to bring a classic summer tradition to Fort Riley’s service members. Our honored men and women enjoyed food, games, music and great conversation along with General Manager Vivian Willcoxon and the rest of the Omni team.
Everyone enjoys a fun summer time BBQ filled with fresh air and a grill that was packed with everything from the classic, burger and hot dogs, to grilled chicken, ribs and veggies. The BBQ is becoming an annual tradition and Omni hopes to make it bigger and better every time.
While great food might be the reason for coming, Omni and It’s representatives worked hard to inform service members about their financial obligations, future and how we can help. Our mission is to assist these service members as they want to learn more about their financial futures, and when they are in need. At Omni, we love to say yes and do what we can to assist service members and their families. Nothing lets Omni know what soldiers need and how we can help, like meeting face to face with some great food! Thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who learned more about our mission by attending our booth.

Omni and the Better Opportunities For Single Soldiers(BOSS) program teamed up in 2017 to sponsor the BOSS BBQ at Fort Riley in Junction City, Kansas. General Manager Vivian Willcoxon and others from Omni gathered and mingled with the active duty soldiers in attendance. The soldiers enjoyed food, drinks, games, music, and socializing with each other.
Omni sponsored two BBQ events through the summer months sharing the joy of grilling with the service members stationed at Fort Riley. All types of meats and veggies were thrown on the grill from burgers and hot dogs to chicken and ribs, there was plenty to go around.
Vivian and other Omni representatives walked around and talked to many soldiers about Omni Financial and what we do to make the life of service members more easy and painless. Our mission is to assist active duty service members in their time of need and also boosting their knowledge when it comes to financial obligations. Many service members are looking forward to the upcoming holiday season and Omni is here to help. Service Members discussed going home or buying presents for their families. At Omni, we love to say yes and reach out that helping hand to our soldiers worrying less. Thank you to everyone who attended the event and everyone who visited the Omni booth.

BOSS BBQ 2014
To demonstrate Omni Financial support for the soldiers of Ft. Riley, Omni is proud to sponsor 6 monthly BOSS BBQs beginning in April through September. Omni’s sponsorship contribution will be used to provide food for the event. The first BBQ, we will sponsor, will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the 1/4 Horse Parade Field for the 4th Brigade but all soldiers on Ft. Riley can attend. The BBQ will be held at different locations on base each month. It is expected that over 250 single soldiers will attend our first BBQ, and we can’t wait to meet them and get to know more service members from Ft. Riley. These BBQs are just one of the ways we look to show Omni’s ongoing support for the service members of Ft. Riley.
