Fleet Week Enlisted Golf Tournament 2018
On Saturday October 22nd, the Omni office in San Diego, run by General Manager Robin Howard, partnered with Fleet Week San Diego to support the Enlisted Golf Tournament. It is an honor to support this annual event; it gives us the opportunity to give back to the military community in more ways than one. The military is an integral part of San Diego’s community and Fleet Week allows us to celebrate the outstanding service the service members and their families, and we are happy that we were able to be there. Fleet Week San Diego has week long events to recognize the sacrifices, dedication, and professionalism show by the service members in protecting our nation.
Fleet Week is a non-profit organization that hosts the week long events around the greater San Diego area. This is a San Diego tradition and is aimed at honoring and celebrating the men and women of the military. Fleet Week San Diego was founded in 1997 by community and business leaders who understood the depth of support from the community for the Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen. Their vision was to recognize the contributions of the naval services to the San Diego region and provide the public with a way to express their support for the service men and women. Originally nurtured by the Chamber of Commerce, once the events grew to be recognized as an annual feature, The San Diego Fleet Week Foundation was established in 2001. The San Diego Fleet Week Foundation donates the excess money after Fleet Week to charities that provide critical support to military families.
We are honored and excited to be part of the Fleet Week Enlisted Golf Tournament on October 22, 2018 from 1000-1900 at the Sycuan Casino. This is just one of many events that Fleet Week San Diego hosts and we are truly grateful to be a part of it. We are happy to help any way and every way we can and encourage everyone to participate in the events to show support for the military community.
