It was a beautiful day at Lake Olsted Stadium, with a bright blue sky overhead and the warm temperatures set up for perfect baseball weather. But this wasn’t any regular baseball game, this was Military Appreciation Night. A night where Servicemembers can enjoy great game dedicated to them

How does a night at a baseball game sound to you?
As most soldiers are always looking for interesting ways to relax this provides Omni Financial with the incentive to always be on the lookout for opportunities that will fit the bill. How does a night at a baseball game sound to you? On Saturday, July 26th at 7:30 PM the Augusta Green Jackets baseball team, the areas minor league team, will be hosting their “8th Annual Military Appreciation Night” at Lake Olmsted Stadium.
If you are stationed at Ft. Gordon why not plan on attending and kick back with an estimated 3,000 of your fellow service members and relax for a few hours with the great American pastime, a hot dog, and a beverage. Always looking for that perfect opportunity to support the soldiers of Ft. Gordon, Omni GM Luis Cruz hit a home run by agreeing to once again sponsor this event. Omni, in conjunction with base leadership, will also give away a number of free tickets to the game. 50 soldiers designated by their Unit will be invited to stop by the Augusta Omni office to personally receive their tickets to the game. This will provide Omni GM Cruz the perfect chance to greet each soldier, thank them for their service, sent them off to the game, and offer any assistance he can provide. Whether a base or off base event, Omni is constantly looking for ways to show support for the service members and families of Ft. Gordon and to thank them for their service . Play Ball!
