Little Heroes At Home

Little Heroes at Home 2019

Established in 1986 by former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger, April is the month designated each year as the Month of the Military Child. All month long we honor the resilience, commitment, contributions and sacrifices of military children in the community. It’s a time to recognize the unique sacrifices and challenges they face on a daily basis and each year Omni is proud to take part in this tradition by celebrating the military child with Little Heroes at Home. This event is designed to honor local military children who serve along with their families for the daily sacrifices they make and the challenges they overcome.

Thank you for joining us on April 6th at the Hampton Roads Convention Center to honor the local little heroes. The event will included fun family activities for all ages like a rock wall, games, face painting, and more! This year’s theme was ART and we are honored to have been a part of this event.

April is Month of the Military Child. All month long we recognize the important role children play in the military community. This is a time to applaud military families and their children for the daily sacrifices they make and the challenges they overcome. The Month of the Military Child is part of the legacy left by former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger. He established the Defense Department commemoration in 1986. Special of events are held on many military bases to honor these children, These efforts and special events will stress the importance of providing children with quality services and support to help them succeed in the mobile military lifestyle.
Little Warriors is an event designed to just for that, showing our little heros that they are as strong as the toughest soldier. For this reason Omni is a proud sponsor of Little Heroes of JBLE.
