Operation Appreciation 2019
Dan Morgan, a General Manager of Omni office in Oceanside, CA, was excited to reaffirm Omni’s commitment to support Operation Appreciation this year. Hosted by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Operation Appreciation allows us to show how much we care about the service members in the community. Dan volunteered at the event, greeting service members and their families who entered the festivities as well as serving them delicious food. With between 1,500 to 2,000 service members attending this year’s event, Dan was honored to give back and show appreciation at the event.
From young children to adults, there were sights and activities for everyone! This event featured many different military vehicles including amphibious vehicles, MRAP vehicles, tanks, and LAVs, for all to enjoy. There was also a fun zone for the children to play in, complete with a bouncy castle, slide, trampolines, and plenty more.
We were honored to meet and serve all those who attended this year’s event. We hope to see you once again next year!
Operation Appreciation 2017
Operation Appreciation is all about showing how much we care about the service members in the San Diego and Oceanside community. The beach side is covered with military vehicles for all to see and enjoy. There is also a fun zone for the kids of the service members. Over 15,000 service members in attendance and over 5,000 meals were served, because nothing shows appreciation like great food.
Despite being open to the public this event’s main focus was those who are serving as well as those who have served. Service members can join the day not only with their families but also with their community. Everyone in attendance shows their appreciation and gives thanks to those service members who make their way to Operation Appreciation
Omni held multiple Raffles throughout the event. Congratulations to all the winners!

Operation Appreciation 2014
On May 17th Omni’s offices in Oceanside and San Diego, CA jointly sponsor the 13th Annual Military Appreciation/Armed Forces Day Celebration.
This event held near the Oceanside Pier is a day of thanking our service members in the Camp Pendleton area for their dedication day in and day out.This day of fun and relaxation offered a fun zone for the kids, rides,a rock climbing wall, crafts live entertainment and end with a catered free meal for all the service members.
Last year 5,000 service members received a catered meal. This year it is expected that some 8,000 military and civilians will attend this event. This sponsorship demonstrates the way Omni looks to say Thank You and supports our service members.
Shown in the above pictures are the happy and lucky winners of our bikes raffles which our General Manager Jim Maloney made happen just for this event, as another sign of gratitude to the military community.
Operation Appreciation 2013
Saturday, May 18 saw Omni’s Oceanside and San Diego offices jointly sponsor “Operation Appreciation” at the Oceanside Pier. This day-long event coordinated by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce afforded approximately some 10,000 service members and their families the chance to “chill out” and enjoy a variety of military displays, a fun zone for kids and plenty of food and drink. The Chamber estimates that they served over 5,000 meals during the event. As you can see form the pictures Omni staffers were set up and in the middle of the action. This was a great way for Omni to give back to the military.

Omni’s San Diego office, in conjunction with Omni’s Oceanside office was proud to co-sponsor the Annual Armed Forces Day Operation Appreciation. Thanks to the sponsors over 5000 service members and their families were treated to food and entertainment. What a great way to give back to our troops!
