Salute the Troops 2015
The Third Annual Salute the Troops a commemorative event that honors our Servicemembers. Held in Pioneer Park in Puyallup, WA. This day gives our service members a day to enjoy. More than 2,500 people expected to attend this year’s event including the cheerleaders of the Seattle Seahawks. The free event is open to the public and will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday August 30th.
Special prize baskets will be presented to two soldiers who competed in Hawaii for Warrior of the Year. The event will also include a basketball tournament, pie jousting, a bounce house, free food and prize drawings for themed and specialized baskets.
Concerts in the Park will immediately follow the event and the adjacent spray park will be open throughout the day.
