Holiday Helpers Association Toy Drive 2012
Every year the Ft. Lee Holiday Helpers Association conducts a toy drive to support the dependent children of our fighting men and women who need a little extra help this time of year. This toy drive gets the attention of the Commanding Officer or ACS as candidates are screened to make sure those in need are the ones getting the help. Pictured below are Sarita Harding, owner of S&B Designs and a Prince George Chamber of Commerce member and Jeff Heckert, GM of Omni’s Prince George office and fellow Chamber member standing in front of his four wheel sled loaded with over 200 toys. Also shown is Jeff Heckert presenting a $400 check on behalf of Omni to Carlton Branch, Vice President of the Ft. Lee Holiday Helper Association. These funds will be used to provide coffee, juice and food for the main give-away event and for the volunteers wrapping gifts for two days.
