Every year the new faces of Fort Hood in Killeen, TX get a chance to see what is available for them in the area. This has become a way for us to get to know the great service members joining our community.
Hood Howdy 2017
We are overjoyed to have participated in yet another Hood Howdy at Fort Hood. This is a pivotal event for anyone new to the Killeen area. And Omni is here to welcome you all to the neighborhood
Hood Howdy connects service members new to Fort Hood and the Killeen area to business and events around the neighborhood. Service members fresh from a PCS move may feel overwhelmed with being in a new area and do not know where to start when looking for a specific service. That is where the Hood Howdy comes in to fill that void. Everything from law offices, medical centers, mechanics and financial services like us are there to greet you and make you feel welcomed into your new home.
This is Omni’s fourth Hood Howdy event and every year we meet so many service members eager to learn about their new community. Omni is here to show the way and educate those new to the area about the beauty that Killeen has to offer. Since our office is located in the heart of Killeen and has been at that location for so many years. Welcome to Killeen and we appreciate every one of you

Hood Howdy 2015
Hood Howdy is The biggest and best welcome party in all of Texas. A family friendly event packed with great information to help service members get to know their new home, Fort Hood and the Killeen area. With over 100 business present the Hood Howdy demonstrates exactly what this base and town has to offer, anything you may need you can find it right here. There is also refreshments and prizes to be won as well as awesome activities.
This event is open to the public so service members can bring their family and friends with them to experience this Texas-Style welcome.See you there!
Hood Howdy 2014
To help newly arriving soldiers and families to Ft. Hood the base will sponsor what they have come to call “Hood Howdy” on Thursday, August 7th 2014. Approximately 1,200 new arrivals to Ft. Hood will attend this event to get a better understanding of what is available on Ft. Hood.
